Company Background: PWP Inc. is a complete thermoforming plastics manufacturer in Vernon, CA who specializes in producing plastic food containers.
Challenge: Get PWP's broken down 300 HP thermoforming extruder back on line as quickly as possible. The service call came in midday Friday.
Solution: Upon our Service Engineer arriving on site he found bad SCR's and a bad board in the DC Drive. He was able to use parts from Control Concepts stock to get the drive going that day. Upon fixing the drive he found the 300 HP, 900 RPM, DC Motor to be bad. Control Concepts found and shipped, counter to counter, a refurbished 900 RPM motor to get PWP's line up and running within 22 hours of the initial breakdown call.
